Media Tomb Candlelight Vigil: Post Mortem

From CK

Just came back from the protest gathering. It was peacefully conducted. No police interference at NST front. There are sessions of speeches and short performance. People gathers around and sing a song together to voice the protest. Quite some media people are around too, since NST papers group are there. Plus, China Press are just opposite. There’s also a memorial placed in front there as a sign to the death of ethical journalism. People carries candles and pay tribute to the death. It was indeed a mourning session. Paul (paul’s place) was also there with two of his dogs to witness the moment.

Photos can be found on Jamtank.

According to Paul, 2 policemen asked the crowd to disperse, which they did peacefully.

30 remaja berkumpul bantah laporan media

{wt} – Actually it was Sonia Randhawa (of The Center for Independent Journalism) and Paul (of the infamous black metal nexus Paul’s Place)
